Yellow-billed Stork (Mycteria ibis)

With its bright yellow bill, white plumage and elegant stride, the Yellow-billed Stork is captured in Chobe National Park’s and is one of the Park’s most common wetland birds. It feeds by slowly sweeping its partly open bill through shallow water, snapping shut the instant it detects fish or other aquatic prey. Commonly found along the Chobe River and surrounding floodplains.
